during his child hood where he was introduced to the the art of Karate
in Okinawa Japan. As Al got older he participated in several traditional
team sports consisting of football, basketball, and soccer, but his
desire for training never waned. Upon enlisting into the U.S. Army, Al
was a Special Agent with the Armys covenant Criminal Investigation
Command. As a Special Agent, Al again began to embark on his martial
arts training during which he studied TaeKwonDo in Korea, where he was
stationed. As Al's career progressed he participated and conducted

kenneth Brown /BJJ Black Belt, PDS Purple Belt
Kenneth Brown started training at Evolve Academy under Mike Moses in
2007. At the time, he was over 340 pounds and out of shape, but he had
been fascinated by a marathon of The Ultimate Fighter and asked himself
why not. The desire to learn led him to travel an hour to Gaithersburg,
MD and struggle through a Thai Boxing class. In the end though, the fire
had been lit, and he kept making the trip. Despite training in an
environment where learning Jiu Jitsu was possible and easy, it still
took almost a year for him to try a class. The barrier was preconceived
notions about rolling around on the ground, but that changed when he had
the opportunity to volunteer at a grappling tournament. There, he got
the chance to see a level of passion and effort that was inspiring, and
his desire to learn expanded to include Jiu Jitsu. Once he started
training, he started competing and his passion grew. Now he's dedicated
to sharing the joy and effectiveness of the art with everyone he can,
and black belt was just a milestone in that journey.
Danny Heath /BJJ Purple Belt , Founder Team Randori
Danny started searching for academies to train at after being introduced to martial arts by his brother Justin. He became obsessed.
It was quite a shock to most of his friends and family because of how
quiet and reserved he is. He found his passion. He trained at the gym
everyday they were open, and when they were closed he trained at home
with his brother and by himself. Watching videos daily his passion and
eagerness to train grew. Through hard and consistent work Danny was able
to have two amateur fights in New Jersey. Danny has also competed
across the US and Canada in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. As his passion grew so
did his desire to share it with others so he helped found Randori. "The
people I've met, the things I've learned, the experiences I've shared
with my friends, this is why I train, and I wouldn't trade it for the
world."ck belt was just a milestone in that journey.
